Baaj is the Punjabi word for falcon. In Sikh tradition the falcon stands for vigilance and quiet authority. It sees clearly, stays calm and misses very little, which is what we look for in every operative we send to a site.

Can you secure a demolition site?
Yes. Demolition sites need active perimeter cover during the demolition phase and overnight cover before site clearance is complete. Baaj provides SIA-licensed static and mobile cover on demolition sites, with gate control during deliveries, access checks for contractors, and after-dark presence to deter scrap-metal theft.

A 100-guest wedding usually needs one to three SIA-licensed operatives, depending on the venue layout, whether home cover is included, whether the gift table is large or visible, and the wedding's duration. Their job is to be there and keep watch, stepping in only if they need to. Yes. High-profile and sensitive funerals (where the deceased was a public figure, where the family has been in the news, or where family disputes are a known risk) are covered with extra discretion. The leadership team briefs the operatives personally, the cover is plain-clothes where appropriate, and the team coordinates with the funeral director on access management.
Do I need licensed security for an art exhibition?
Yes, in almost all cases. Galleries and cultural-event venues in London expect any security personnel on site to hold a current SIA licence, both for insurance reasons and for the safety of the artwork and guests. Baaj supplies SIA-licensed operatives only. For private views and gallery openings, plain-clothes cover is available on request.

Baaj prices every job individually. There's no off-the-shelf rate card. The leadership team reviews the brief (venue, hours, operative count, dress requirement, urgency) and confirms cover and pricing in writing.
Pricing varies job to job because the work varies. A daytime reception desk in a London serviced apartment is priced differently from an overnight static post on a Heathrow construction site. A wedding at a contained venue with one operative is priced differently from a wedding with three operatives, formalwear, and home cover during the day. A short-notice booking for emergency cover within 48 hours is priced differently from a long contract booked weeks ahead. Plain-clothes work, formalwear, multi-shift cover, and remote-site logistics all change the brief, and so change the price.
