Our story
Baaj is the Punjabi word for falcon. Pronounced baaj.
In Sikh tradition the falcon represents vigilance, watchfulness, and quiet authority — a bird known for sharp sight, calm focus, and full attention to what's happening around it. Those are the qualities we look for in every operative we send to your site. Not the bouncer at the door, not the person in the high-vis vest leaning against a wall. Someone who's there for a reason, knows the reason, and acts on it.
Baaj Security Ltd was founded in 2025. The company is UK-registered (Companies House number 16353621), based in London, and run by a leadership team that came up doing this work themselves — at weddings, on building sites, in hotels overnight. Baaj was built to do that work properly: direct hire, SIA-licensed operatives only, every job briefed by name and reviewed personally by the leadership team. Not by an algorithm. Not by a subcontractor.

How we work
Every operative working for Baaj Security holds a current SIA licence. No exceptions, no temporary hires from outside the company, no exceptions for short-notice jobs.
Every operative is directly hired by Baaj. No subcontracting. No agency middlemen. The person on your gate or your reception desk is on Baaj's payroll, briefed by Baaj, and accountable to Baaj.
Every job is reviewed personally by the leadership team. There's no algorithm and no automatic system. A wedding in Surrey is briefed differently from an overnight site in Hayes, because the work is different.
Baaj Security Ltd is registered in England and Wales (Companies House number 16353621) and carries public liability and employer's liability insurance. Certificates are available on request.

Where we work
London and the surrounding home counties as standard — Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, and the Heathrow corridor in Middlesex. Secondary cover extends into Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Sussex, and Bedfordshire.
Operatives have worked at weddings, funerals, retail floors, construction sites, hotels overnight, and reception desks across the area — from Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire to Southall and Hayes on the western edge of London, to central London corporate venues and West London galleries.
